In early February, there was an opportunity to take some photos and video of the departure of one of the largest Cruise liners in the world, the Ovation of the Seas. The ship was visiting Adelaide overnight and the shoot was arranged through Flinders Ports a client of several years standing. The photos are being used on their website and from part of a library of work around activities at the port and container terminal. Hope you like them!

The Hire and Rental Industry Association of New Zealand has been working with us since 2016 and one of its biggest issues is getting new people to look at coming into their sector. Often seen as a temporary or transitional career, the industry has struggled to attract talented people. However, that is now changing and many people are turning to the rapid advancement opportunities and helping shape the future of this amazing industry sector. Covering traditional hire and also including major events, this industry is now being seen in a new light.
In early 2017, we created a series of 5 careers videos with the Hire Industry Association of New Zealand to promote the diverse industry to new people looking at career options. The project included a 12 day filming trip across both islands and covers people in a wide range of roles, from apprentices to senior management of hire companies.

in 2015 Foundation client BE Switchcraft engaged me to rebuild their website and create a new video to be featured on the new site. The work was completed in late 2015.
The site rebuild created a review process where we looked at the DNA of the company and what we felt were its dominant strengths over its 50 year journey. As a result we featured the people and their inherent approach to quality and their dedication to the clients outcomes as a feature on both the new site and video.

This week the Adelaidenow website ran an online and paper article about the discovery of a time capsule from the previous masonic lodge at Hindmarsh. I recently produced a video on how it was discovered and repaired ready for exhibit soon at the Freemasons Museum on North Terrace.
Its a good story and well done to Murray Olsson at the Museum for all his great work. This video was produced in partnership with Artlab.
This video is part of my art+video series on my website. More to be added soon!

What is different about the Wine Industry and what attracts people to it?
In Mid 2014, I was fortunate to be selected to produce a series of videos profiling people working in different pathways in the wine industry. The project was established by the South Australian Wine Industry Association in conjunction with the SA Governments Skills for All Program. The project was to create a series of videos that highlight the journeys that people take on their way through this dynamic and innovative industry.
Over the last 10 years or so, I have been privileged to witness some amazing things happen and watched people shape their careers or life paths.
In the safety arena, I have filmed nearly 70 videos for Safe Work Awards and on each video met up to a dozen or more people behind the entry or their journey to a better safety outcome. When these people have their efforts recognised on video and are highlighted before their peers at events such as the Safe Work Awards, it generates a positive message and creates an affirmation in being safe for those around them.
Last year I was introduced to Flinders Logistics who operate at the inner and Outer Harbor precincts. It was amazing to see what goes on when big ships are loaded and how the process happens from delivery of bulk minerals to the ship sailing off to fuel the increasing demand of everyday products made across the world. So who is Flinders Logistics?
